Collaborative Art Quilt

Some of our art classes are much further along than others and needed to pause to let the others catch up!
Yesterday some of the Kindergarten and 1st grade classes started a collaborative art “quilt” inspired by the work of contemporary artist Libs Elliott. They began with squares and triangles, and were challenged to create unique designs with a variety of colors and sizes. When students were finished, they assembled each of their pieces into one giant artwork!
