Index Card Tower Challenge!

How tall of a tower could you build with just index cards, tape and a pair of scissors? How much weight could your tower hold?
Seventh-Grade students put their communication, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking skills to the test this week for the Index Card Tower STEM challenge. Mrs. Whiteford directed 7B students to work together in teams and follow the engineering design process to create the tallest possible free-standing index card tower that could hold a Beanie Baby. The students rose to the challenge, built terrific designs and had a lot of fun!
